With the numerous changes within the Braves organization this off-season, including new staff and management. We think the time is right to revive Brockville’s storied Jr B franchise and reintegrate it in the community. If executed properly, the Tikis will be an opportunity for more local players to play at the Junior level and allow the Braves to establish a farm system, developing talent for both the Braves and other teams within the CCHL. Along with player development the team will be focussed on rebuilding it’s connections to the community.
Braves General Manager Ryan Leonard and Director of Hockey Operations Kris Hodgins believe the timing is right to initiate a new era of Jr hockey in Brockville.
Rick Mulder has been appointed as the Tikis’ new General Manager, overseeing the program.
The Tikis are currently seeking a head coach.
