Nick Wiencek posted a shutout, stopping all 27 of the Smiths Falls Bears shots throughout the game. The Brockville Braves took the lead late in the second on a goal from Eric Holland.
Eric Holland had a busy night with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Eric Faith contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).
During the second, Holland opened the scoring for Brockville with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 16:34 with helpers from teammates Faith and Jarvis.
In the third, Jefferson netted a goal at 9:17 with helpers from his linemates, Holland and Mcarthur. Faith deposited a goal at 18:31 with an assist from fellow Braves forward Kirkby.
Brockville’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Wiencek’s shutout, as he stopped all 27 of the shots he faced. On the other hand, Wiencek’s counterpart, Dobson, and Smiths Falls’ defense had to remove a few pucks out of the back of his net stopping only 21 of 23 shots.
This win brings the Brockville Braves’ record to (30-16-2-1).
