Gabriel Carriere posted a shutout, stopping all 20 of the Brockville Braves shots throughout the game. The Ottawa Junior Senators took the lead early in the second on a goal from Chiwetin Blacksmith.
Nick Lalonde had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Chiwetin Blacksmith contributed with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).
During the second, Blacksmith opened the scoring for Ottawa with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 4:12 with helpers from his linemates, Guy and Veillette. Lalonde quickly followed with a goal at 5:02 with helpers from teammates Bisson and Blacksmith. Blacksmith put in a goal at 12:48 with assists from Lalonde and Bisson.
In the third, Walsh netted a goal at 2:50 with an assist from Veillette. Lalonde deposited a goal at 6:09 with helpers from his linemates, Denis and Guy.
