The Braves fall to the Lumber Kings 3-2

The Brockville Braves’ defense had a poor night, allowing the Pembroke Lumber Kings 45 shots throughout the game. The Pembroke Lumber Kings took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Malcolm Arseneau.

Simon Kerr did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Michael Douglas delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Brendan Browne chipped in with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

In the first, Hawkins opened the scoring for Brockville with a goal at 1:19 with helpers from teammates Locatelli and Kerr.

During the second period, Kerr put in a goal at 7:20 with helpers from Gilmour and Jefferson. Browne finally put Pembroke on the board with a goal at 10:17 with assists from Barnaby and Douglas.

In the third, Douglas deposited a goal at 6:27 with assists from Warnholtz and Browne. Arseneau netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 12:28 with helpers from his linemates, Browne and Warnholtz.

This loss brings the Brockville Braves’ record to (37-20-2-2).
