The Braves defeat the Junior Senators 4-2

The Brockville Braves’ offense had a big night, peppering the Ottawa Junior Senators with 30 shots throughout the game. The Brockville Braves took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Philippe Gilmour.

During the second period, Daniels opened the scoring for Ottawa with a goal at 6:25 with a helper from Pion. Mcarthur finally put Brockville on the board with a goal at 14:01 with an assist from his teammate Vlahos. Holland netted a goal at 16:06 with a helper from his linemate Jefferson. Mcgregor answered for the Junior Senators with a goal at 19:53.

In the third, Gilmour answered for the Braves with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 14:13 with assists from his linemates, Hawkins and Faith. Allaire put in a goal at 19:00.

Brockville’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Evenson’s big night as he stopped 44 of the 46 shots he faced. Evenson’s counterpart, Hicks, also had a big night, managing to stop 26 of 29, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Brockville Braves’ record to (7-3-0-0).
