The Braves defeat the Hawks 3-1

The Brockville Braves' offense had a big night, peppering the Hawkesbury Hawks with 49 shots throughout the game. The Brockville Braves took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Fred Allaire.

During the first, Vlahos opened the scoring for Brockville with a goal at 18:13 with assists from his teammates Gilmour and Mack.

In the third, Anderson finally put Hawkesbury on the board with a goal at 14:13 with helpers from Jankowski and Besner. Allaire quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 14:29 with assists from Halle and Hill. Mcarthur netted a goal at 19:23.

The Braves’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Evenson’s big night as he stopped 29 of the 30 shots he faced. Evenson’s counterpart, Petizian, also had a big night, managing to stop 46 of 48, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Brockville Braves’ record to (31-16-2-1).
