The Brockville Braves' offense had a big night, peppering the Cornwall Colts with 36 shots throughout the game, to go along with Justin Evenson's shutout. The Brockville Braves took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Nicholas Hawkins.
During the second period, Hawkins opened the scoring for Brockville with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 14:31 with an assist from defenseman Davy.
The Braves’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Evenson’s shutout, as he stopped all 30 of the shots he faced. Evenson’s counterpart, Lascelle, also had a big night, managing to stop 35 of 36, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Brockville Braves’ record to (32-16-2-1).
