The Braves defeat the Bears 3-1

The Brockville Braves' offense had a big night, peppering the Smiths Falls Bears with 29 shots throughout the game. The Brockville Braves took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Christophe Cote.

In the second period, Allaire opened the scoring for Brockville with a goal at 13:58 with helpers from his teammates Hawkins and Kerr. Dicarlo finally put the Bears on the board with a goal at 16:17 with assists from his linemates, Shannon and Hart.

In the third, Cote answered for the Braves with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 10:40 with helpers from Hill and Van Ettinger. Mcarthur netted a goal at 15:49 with assists from his linemates, Jefferson and Faith.

Brockville’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Evenson as he stopped 20 of the 21 shots he faced. Evenson’s counterpart, Renaud, also had a big night, managing to stop 26 of 29, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Brockville Braves’ record to (7-6-0-0).
