The Braves crushed the Bears 4-1

The Brockville Braves' offense had a big night, peppering the Smiths Falls Bears with 25 shots throughout the game. The Brockville Braves took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Andrew Jarvis.

Eric Holland contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Philippe Gilmour did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first, Crump opened the scoring for Brockville with a goal at 9:13 with a helper from his teammate Allaire.

In the second period, Jarvis deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 14:21 with helpers from Allaire and Mcmahon. Bygrave quickly followed with a goal at 16:02 with an assist from his linemate Renaud.

During the third, Gilmour answered for the Braves with a goal at 15:29 with an assist from Holland. Holland put in a goal at 18:05 with a helper from Gilmour.

Brockville’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Evenson as he stopped 17 of the 18 shots he faced. On the other hand, Evenson’s counterpart, Renaud, and the Bears’ defense was beaten a few times stopping only 21 of 24 shots.

This win brings the Brockville Braves’ record to (10-8-0-0).
