Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League along with Gongshow Gear are pleased to announce Brockville Braves defenseman Simon Mack as the October High School Academic Player of the Month.
Taking three courses this term, including Advanced Functions with all tests being 90% and above, Mack is one of the top defensemen on the Braves playing in all situations. His talent as a blue liner has attracted all kinds of interest, resulting in an offer from NCAA Penn State and interest from NHL teams.
The Brockville, ON native is currently tied for 5th in scoring among CCHL defensemen with 12 points (2G, 10A) in 19 games of action. His TOI average of 26:13 leads all Braves skaters.
