Story by Harper Cotie

After being blanked 4-0 in game one on Friday, the Brockville Braves responded on Monday night at home in game two. A 3-0 win over the Ottawa Jr. Senators to even their semi-finals series at one. Colin Elliott started the scoring by deflecting a Nick Foster point shot past Jr. Sens’ netminder Rorke Applebee on the power-play at 10:45 in the first.
After a scoreless and physical second period, Aiden Carolan picked up his first of the post-season by firing a high-slot wrister past Applebee just 4:07 into the third. Nick Foster would later get on the scoresheet again with a short-handed, empty-netter from his own end of the rink at 18:44 to seal the victory. Sami Molu earned first star honours with a 40 save shutout in net for Brockville.
Game three is Wednesday night at 7:10 in Ottawa.
