Mack's big night helped the Braves crush the Colts 6-3

Simon Mack had a big night with 5 points (1 goal, 4 assists) as the Brockville Braves crushed the Cornwall Colts 6-3 in a home game at Brockville Memorial Centre in Brockville. Besides, Justin Evenson came up big, stopping 32 of 35 shots throughout the game. The Brockville Braves took the lead late in the second on a goal from Tyson Kirkby.

Jonathan Hill delivered for his team with 2 assists and Jordi Jefferson chipped in with 3 assists. Cameron Hebert had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first period, Mcarthur opened the scoring for the Braves with a goal at 3:06 with helpers from teammates Mack and Jefferson. Poirier answered for the Colts with a goal at 18:49 with helpers from Wilkins and Hebert. Mack quickly followed with a goal at 19:43 with assists from Jefferson and Hill.

During the second, Vlahos deposited a goal at 2:31 with helpers from Faith and Mack. Hebert answered for Cornwall with a goal at 13:30 with an assist from Williams. Kirkby answered for the Braves with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 16:29 with helpers from Hill and Mack.

In the third period, Holland deposited a goal at 5:39 with assists from Mack and Jefferson. Tanner answered for the Colts with a goal at 10:18 with a helper from his linemate Mcrae. Jarvis answered for Brockville with a goal at 18:44 with an assist from Evenson.

The Braves’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Evenson’s big night as he stopped 32 of the 35 shots he faced. Evenson’s counterpart, Lascelle, also had a big night, managing to stop 38 of 43, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Brockville Braves’ record to (28-16-2-1).
