Jack McDonald is 4th Brave to be named CCHL Player of the Week – R&T

It’s another accolade for a member of the Jr. A Braves.

Brockville forward Jack McDonald is the CCM Hockey Player of the Week for Week 19 in the Central Canada Hockey League. The 19-year-old Western New York native racked up three goals and eight assists in wins against Kemptville, Navan and Nepean.

McDonald scored a goal and five assists and was named first star in the Nepean game at the Memorial Centre on Friday night. He now has seven goals and 21 assists on the season.

Receiving honourable mentions for Week 19 are Smiths Falls goalie and former Brave Will McEvoy, Alexander Hogue of Navan and Prescot Brighton of Renfrew.

McDonald is the fourth Brockville player to be named Player of the Week this season. Before him were forward Ryan Bonfield (Week 12), defenceman Thomas Haynes (Week 10) and forward Evan Boucher (Week 4).
