It has come to Brockville Braves ownership’s attention that there is a person who is not part of our organization improperly identifying that he is a Braves scout.
This person is contacting players, both inside and outside the Braves organization promising them opportunities with our club or other clubs in Junior A and one specific team in Junior B.
This person has used the alias Ryan Shearer or Ryan Sheer.

The authorities have been informed and will be investigating this matter further. Once we confirm his true identity, this man will be pursued legally.
