Braves-Bears complete 4 piece Trade

The Braves are happy to announce they have acquired the rights to the following players from the Smiths Falls Bears:

03 – F – Owen Watson
04 – F – Garrett Joss
06 – D – Jack Paquette
06 – D – Spencer Evans (CCHL Rights)

Watson is a 5’11” left shot forward who put up 19G, 33A for 52 points in 50 games in his 2nd full season with the Bears last year. He tied for 2nd in Bears playoff goals with 8 in 17 GP.

Joss is 5’10” and had a successful first CCHL season with the Bears scoring 11 goals and 21 points in 49 games.

Paquette (5’11” – RD) spent most of last season with the EOJHL Jr. Bears notching 14G/16A/30P in 35 games played.

The Braves acquired the CCHL rights to Left shot D Spencer Evans who played with the U18 Bears for two seasons posting a 13/51/64 line over those seasons and also had a 10 game stint with the OHL’s Soo Greyhounds who picked him in the 6th round of the 2022 OHL Draft.

Owner and GM Dustin Traylen is excited to complete this deal saying “We are thrilled to have these players join the group and are confident their experience and abilities will help the Braves hunt for a championship in the 23-24 Season!”
