The Braves defeat the Lumber Kings 6-4

The Brockville Braves' offense had a big night, peppering the Pembroke Lumber Kings with 41 shots throughout the game. The Brockville Braves took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Eric Holland.

Simon Kerr delivered for his team with 2 assists and Mike Mcarthur contributed with 2 assists. Malcolm Arseneau had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 goals and Jacob Kamps chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first, Jarvis opened the scoring for the Braves with a goal at 0:48 with helpers from his teammates Vlahos and Kerr. Kamps quickly followed with a goal at 1:24 with helpers from his linemates, Browne and Barnaby. Holland answered for Brockville with a goal at 6:13 with an assist from defenseman Mack. Arseneau answered for Pembroke with a goal at 14:24 with an assist from his teammate Warnholtz. Browne quickly followed with a goal at 15:13 with a helper from Barnaby. Holland quickly followed with a goal at 16:15.

During the second, Jarvis put in a goal at 3:46 with assists from Spratt and Halle. Holland netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 11:14 with helpers from Mcarthur and Mack.

In the third period, Arseneau answered for Pembroke with a goal at 7:35 with assists from his linemates, Warnholtz and Kamps. Jarvis answered for Brockville with a goal at 16:22 with helpers from Kerr and Mcarthur.

The Braves’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Evenson’s big night as he stopped 38 of the 42 shots he faced. Evenson’s counterpart, Smith, also had a big night, managing to stop 35 of 41, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Brockville Braves’ record to (29-16-2-1).
