The Braves defeat the Lasers 4-2

The Brockville Braves’ offense had a big night, peppering the Kanata Lasers with 32 shots throughout the game. The Brockville Braves took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Jordi Jefferson.

Eric Holland did his part, adding 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Jordi Jefferson chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Connor Rider contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Holland opened the scoring for Brockville with a goal at 4:13 with helpers from Davy and Mcarthur.

In the second, Sleeth answered for the Lasers with a goal at 7:56 with helpers from teammates Rider and Bunka.

In the third, Faith answered for the Braves with a goal at 1:46 with assists from his linemates, Halle and Gilmour. Jefferson put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 14:24 with helpers from his linemates, Holland and Mcarthur. Rider answered for Kanata with a goal at 17:26 with assists from Boucher and Markhauser. Holland answered for the Braves with a goal at 19:28 with helpers from his linemates, Mcarthur and Jefferson.

Brockville’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Evenson’s big night as he stopped 35 of the 37 shots he faced. Evenson’s counterpart, Carriere, also had a big night, managing to stop 28 of 31, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Brockville Braves’ record to (4-0-0-0).
