The Braves crushed the Nationals 4-1

Nick Wiencek came up big, stopping 32 of 33 shots throughout the game. The Brockville Braves took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Andrew Jarvis.

Eric Holland had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and Mike Mcarthur chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Jefferson opened the scoring for Brockville with a goal at 6:46 with helpers from his linemates, Kirkby and Holland. Elder answered for Rockland with a goal at 18:09 with helpers from his linemates, Lavoie ‘a’ and Robert.

During the second period, Jarvis answered for the Braves with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 13:06 with assists from his teammates Jefferson and Mcarthur. Holland netted a goal at 19:26 with a helper from defenseman Jarvis.

In the third, Mcarthur deposited a goal at 8:07 with assists from Hill and Holland.

Brockville’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Wiencek’s big night as he stopped 32 of the 33 shots he faced. Wiencek’s counterpart, Storr, also had a big night, managing to stop 37 of 41, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Brockville Braves’ record to (27-16-2-1).
