The Braves crushed the 73's 6-1

The Brockville Braves' offense had a big night, peppering the Kemptville 73's with 41 shots throughout the game. The Brockville Braves took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Zac Mcmahon.

Zac Mcmahon did his part, adding 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and Philippe Gilmour delivered for his team with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

In the first period, Mcarthur opened the scoring for Brockville with a goal at 8:09 with helpers from Jefferson and Mcmahon.

In the second, Mcmahon deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 11:02 with helpers from Hill and Gilmour. Jefferson netted a goal at 14:30 with assists from teammates Holland and Hill.

During the third, Gilmour put in a goal at 2:40 with helpers from his linemates, Kirkby and Hawkins. Vlahos quickly followed with a goal at 4:31 with assists from Mcmahon and Hawkins. Frazee finally put the 73’s on the board with a goal at 9:11 with a helper from defenseman Hunter . Kirkby quickly followed with a goal at 9:22 with an assist from Gilmour.

The Braves’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Wiencek’s big night as he stopped 25 of the 26 shots he faced. Wiencek’s counterpart, Lukenda, also had a big night, managing to stop 35 of 41, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Brockville Braves’ record to (20-13-0-1).
