Gilmour's hat trick helped the Braves crush the 73's 6-3

Philippe Gilmour led the way with a hat trick as the Brockville Braves crushed the Kemptville 73's 6-3 in a home game at Brockville Memorial Centre in Brockville. Andrew Jarvis also had a big night with 4 points (0 goals, 4 assists). Furthermore, the Brockville Braves' offense had a big night, peppering the 73's with 48 shots throughout the game. The Brockville Braves took the lead late in the second on a goal from Philippe Gilmour.

Nicholas Hawkins delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Tyson Kirkby chipped in with 3 assists.

In the first, Vlahos opened the scoring for the Braves with a goal at 4:03 with helpers from Jarvis and Mcarthur. Gilmour deposited a goal at 18:01 with helpers from Kirkby and Jarvis.

In the second, Gilmour put in a goal at 5:06 with assists from Jarvis and Hawkins. Conley quickly followed with a goal at 6:10 with a helper from defenseman Kiefer. Faith netted a goal at 15:23 with assists from his linemates, Thousand and Fry. Gilmour answered for the Braves with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 17:53 with helpers from teammates Fraser and Kirkby.

During the third period, Jefferson deposited a goal at 1:42 with assists from Holland and Mcmahon. Beaton answered for Kemptville with a goal at 5:51 with helpers from his linemates, Mcgrath and Taillon. Hawkins answered for the Braves with a goal at 18:08 with assists from Jarvis and Kirkby.

Brockville’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Evenson as he stopped 24 of the 27 shots he faced. Evenson’s counterpart, Lukenda, also had a big night, managing to stop 42 of 47, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Brockville Braves’ record to (13-11-0-1).
